This coat is incredible. The 40% wool material is soft and it feels heavy and warm. The inner down layer covers the sleeves fully, but ends just below the waist. The down layer is entirely covered by the lining and is not removable. The pockets are large and I love that they're integrated into the design with the bows.
All the faux deer fur (collar and cuffs) are removable by buttons, and when the fur cuffs are removed, the buttons are hidden by the ribbon design on the cuff. The top most bow on the chest is also removable. I also really enjoy the snap buttons on this coat - they're large and gold, and they feel like they'd be easy to use if you're wearing gloves/mittens. I'm very impressed by all the attention to detail.
The dark gray is a true dark gray, and appears darker in person than in the stock photos. My review photos appear to have a slight brownish tone which is also not present in person - it's a true charcoal gray to my eye.
I also bought an XL and I tend to prefer things that can accommodate a 100-102cm bust. The XL size fits perfectly and I have no issues with the fit.
