True to picture, might need to be poofed out upon receiving.

The beret looks lovely and perfectly true to pictures. Since it is delivered laying flat, which is perfectly normal for a beret, it will necessitate to be poofed out depending on taste. The black hairclips inside of the beret make the attach to the hair quite solid. My beret wasn't even swayed by the wind !

The wine red beret is closer to a bright red than a dark red as shown in the picture; the contrast between the two colors is more than in the picture. I also didn't see the black clips in my package of the beret. However, despite this, the beret is very easy to put on and off, keeps my head warm while I wear it, and is really cute. I don't think the lack of black clips has made the beret difficult to put on.

I can see how the color might be a bit different from the picture, but I'm really happy it still looks adorable on you. And it's great to hear that it's easy to put on and keeps you warm.
