I was really wanting a piece to add to my ouji coordinates that would add both texture and take my waist in and this was perfect! I did order the wrong size first, I have a 72cm waist and I ordered a Large. It came in and ended up being too big for me. I then ordered a Small and it now fits perfectly! A friend of mine will now get the first belt as a gift so it all works out! There's no boning in this belt but it's still very sturdy and cute!

It's very beautiful and detailed. You loosen the laces to get in and out, which might be uncomfortable for some, but it works well for me

The items I ordered didn't fit even tho I ordered based off my measurements

So, yes, despite the picture, it is actually black. Raven black is I think a good description of it. Absolutely beautiful and very detailed, but beware to not be clumsy and loose some lace while opening. Recommend heavily for some exterior help to put it on for the first time, and to be steady with your hands to tie it the next times.
