the pants are beautiful and well-made but the fabric has no stretch at all. i ordered a medium as i usually do and i cannot sit down in these pants. could barely pull them on. definitely get a size up

I would say that despite the fact that I can't wear it I hope I can help enlighten people? First off, my hips were just too wide. Since my waist could theoretically fit (it would be a tight fit) I tried to take my chances and I thought it would fit since my legs could get in, but unfortunately my hips were my downfall. The zipper didn't close. Not even close.
The fabric is also not something I'm personally used to wearing and there wasn't any lining inside (I have sensory issues and found that it was a little scratchy- not unbearably so like wool or something just rougher than I expected, but it would have to be a good day for me to wear these) although admittedly trousers rarely ever come with lining unless they're for the winter.
The design? I love the design, I would wear it even if it set me off in regards to my sensory issues and I've been losing weight recently so we'll see if I can get into it soon enough.
I will say however, the length was a little short for my tastes. I do like to have longer trouser length than perfectly fitting ones since the longer ones help when I wear heels or platforms and the trousers that fit me perfectly only look nice when I wear flat shoes (which is not that often).
My outer leg length is around 147cm (from my waist or approximately where the uppermost part of the trousers reach) and so I prefer when they're longer than that is all. However this is a personal preference so not really an issue.
