I can't speak for its longevity, but the shape is good if you want a little subtle poof for your dresses/skirts.
My first time buying/wearing a petticoat and it is super exciting!!! I love wearing it already, it makes me feel like such a princess and the volume it adds to my skirt is amazing. I'm so happy I did this for myself; it scratches a fashion itch I've had ever since I was little ^-^

Lovely modest but still noticeable poof, and comfortable to wear. It does deflate a little after wearing it for a bit. In the picture, I’ve only just freshly put it on after storing it inside out for poof retention. After an hour or two (which included some time spent sitting down) the effect became more subtle.
42Lolita customer service has been stellar as always, they were quick to respond and super accommodating when I changed my mind about the same order not once but twice.

I’m glad to hear that the poof is just right for you, modest but still noticeable. And don’t worry about the slight deflation after a while; that’s totally normal. Just give it a little fluff, and it’ll be back to its bouncy self!

I now have the normal, violence, and ultimate violence petticoats from Aurora so I wanted to talk a bit about them in case it can help others choose one for themselves. The ones I have are all 45cm, and I think I am just missing the super violence version. They all have a cloth layer inside all the organza as mentioned in the listing, so that provides some comfort to your legs when wearing them.
The normal is the one I recently bought, so I can't say about how it may do over a long period of time, but the other ones hold their shape and puff very well after months of wear.
The normal version gives dresses a nice amount of puff that is easy to move around in and sit in. Unsurprisingly, it's the most lightweight of the options, so it's great for casual use or traveling. It gives dresses enough of a silhouette to look like proper lolita dresses, but it may not puff them out enough to show details of dresses with more elaborate prints. It may also not be the best option if the dress is on the heavy side.
The violence version does give dresses more puff, but it may not be super noticeable in pictures compared to the normal version. I think it's more apparent when comparing them in person. I can definitely feel that it's heavier though, but not so much that it couldn't also be used as a casual and daily option. Before I got the normal version, I could still wear this one and drive without much issue. I think that if someone is new to lolita and wants something that gives them a good, defined silhouette but isn't sure how comfortable it would be, then this option will be a solid first choice.
The ultimate violence version is a good deal heavier than the others, but the amount of puff it gives to a dress is visibly more than the other options. I think it would be hard to travel with unless you're putting this one in a checked bag or if you have someone else driving you around. It definitely gives dresses an impressive amount of puff and looks nice with both light and heavy dresses. Since I don't have the super violence version, I can't really say if ultimate is a better deal than super, but I think it's funny to have a petticoat called ultimate violence.

I was looking for something affordable and the quality of this product is very nice. The petticoat came as pictured and isn’t scratchy as well as having an inner lining to protect for any possible discomfort. It also fits very well due to the elastic band. This petticoat works very well for my Moi-Même-Moitié Iron Gate JSK which has a skirt length of 50cm. The petticoat is 45cm which hides it perfectly underneath the dress. It’s also very fluffy but not overwhelming and keeps my dress in an A-Line shape. I have before and after pictures with this JSK as well as what the petticoat looks like by itself, I’m very satisfied!!

I used 42Lolita to order my first ever petticoat (alongside a blouse) and it didn't disappoint!!
I was a little worried when I saw the package's size, but it was only temporary because after getting the petti out of the package and shaking it a bit, it became very voluminous !!!
It added a satisfying poof to my skirt, it was worth it <3 (i tried to add before/after picture to the review, but I'm not sure it worked haha,,)

I was a little worried that this petticoat wouldn't have enough volume for my dresses, but it is the perfect silhouette for the btssb JSKs I have. The fabric feels smooth and is stiff enough to stand on its own. If you're looking for an everyday a-line petticoat, I highly recommend this brand! It was packaged perfectly as well and fluffed up nicely after removing it from the bag.
