I usually wear an Italian size 39, but I sized up to a 40 for these shoes, and they fit me perfectly.
They feature a strap that can be crisscrossed to achieve the typical rocking horse look, along with an additional detachable ankle strap.
I chose this particular model because I prefer the round toe design and the lighter beige sole. I really love their overall aesthetic.
In terms of comfort, I wouldn't classify them as everyday shoes. This is mainly because I have sensitive feet that get sore easily. I wouldn't recommend them for daily use, but they are fine for special occasions. To improve the comfort, I used insoles and protective pads for the pressure points, which were kindly provided by the 42lolita staff. Despite the break-in time needed, I absolutely love their style and would highly recommend them for their unique look.
