I preface by saying I'm not dressing is lolita style. I don't wear petticoats.
The skirt looked very full in the photos, however it must have been worn with a petticoat on the photos. Without one, the topmost tier is almost bigger than the rest of the skirt, creating an unflattering shape.
That being said the skirt is very pretty and good quality sewing, for the price.
The waistband is elastic all the way around and about 5cm tall. My waist is around 77cm and size large is very comfortable.
I will definitely find a way to wear it somehow because it is so pretty!
