Woow, what a coat! For this coat, Nightingale Girl selected a dense and heavy, but super velvety cashmere-like material. I was under the impression that the description might’ve oversold it, but it really was just as described. Coupled with its great garment construction and flawless quality, it makes this product a must-have. …if you can get it to fit.
Tragically, I cannot close this coat. According to the size chart, this should’ve been a good, or at least just slightly tight fit. Instead, there’s an approximately 20 cm gap between the buttonhole and button around the chest area! I can only imagine that while making the coat, they calculated it to be for a 100 cm bust with the pieces touching edge to edge. But considering that there is overlap when buttoning the coat closed, this became functionally unusable. I’m quite upset about this, as it really is of stunning quality. They had even added a free brooch with the product! Sadly, this gets a -1 star for the inaccurate sizing. As the first person to buy this, I of course couldn’t have known. But I hope that everyone who reads this can select their perfect size!
For reference: These photos were taken to give a realistic, unedited impression of the coat. There’s no makeup or retouching, just some simple poses to show how the piece actually looks in real life. (And yes, that is my real hair. :D)
Sizing: This coat fits me quite well in the back and sleeves. But as mentioned before, the front is not properly constructed. For reference, here are my measurements (in cm). I would recommend that buyers subtract about 20 cm from the listed bust and waist measurements. Shoulder width: 42 | Bust: 100 | Upper bust: 93 | Under bust: 88 | Waist (W): 85

The size chart shows flat-laid measurements. We recommend choosing a size that is approximately 7.9 inches (20 cm) larger than your actual bust and waist measurements for a more comfortable, closed fit. This note has also been added to the size chart.
