I chose this design from Tiny Garden because the length of the other dresses seemed a bit too long for me. It looks exactly like it does in the photos. The thick fabric makes it perfect for winter.
The ribbons at the front are a beautiful detail, one side is lined with velvet while the other is not, which creates a lovely textured pattern. With a bust of 82cm and a waist of 68cm, I went with size M just to be safe. While the dress could fit a little more snugly, the extra room allows for a warm, thick blouse underneath.
The only downside is the zipper. It’s common for hidden zippers to be a bit delicate, but in this case, it’s particularly fragile. You definitely need to handle it with extra care.

This is the first time I’ve bought something from 42Lolita, and was a bit skeptical about this site before buying my first coord.

As for the JSK, it’s texture and color are absolutely drop dead stunning!! The wine red color is a bit darker and richer in person, and the JSK is very soft and comfortable. It’s definitely a “made for fall/winter” type of JSK because of it’s thick, heavy, and sturdy velveteen fabric. Despite this, you can still wear a strong bell or a-line petticoat underneath the dress to help it flare up.
It also comes with detachable waistbands and the bodice ribbon lace is detachable as well (you can manually tie the ribbons or ditch them altogether). The JSK also features adjustable straps as well if anyone wants to readjust the length the dress. Also the JSK (size M) is the perfect fit if anyone under 152cm (I’m 150cm for reference) is keeping the their height in mind when wearing Lolita.
Overall lovely JSK (can be worn with or without a petticoat tbh), and amazing customer support! I’m really pleased and impressed with this product and the service, especially as a new Lolita slowly building their wardrobe. 10/10, I will definitely continue shopping here!!☺️

I'm not entirely happy with the dress. It's made of a very stiff velvet, so it doesn't quite fit nicely over a petticoat. It's so stiff, making it impossible to tie a pretty bow at the back. Overall, it's a pretty dress, but I think it should be made of a different material :(
