Infanta - Strawberry Plaid - Sweet Lolita JSK Dress

I won this dress through 42lolita’s instagram and I’m so very happy with it! Infanta’s quality is always nice and I was very happy with the relatively fast shipping and very good packaging!

I've had my eye on this dress for over a year now, and after comparing multiple sellers 42Lolita had the best price. This was my first time buying with them so I was nervous, but my experience was so easy!

There were some issues because the colorway I wanted wasn't available in my size, but 42Lolita contacted me about it immediately and offered the dress in another size or color, or to remove it from my order, or to cancel my order. I was torn between colorways anyway, so I was fine choosing the other color in my size instead. The customer service was incredibly quick to get back to me, and so much more polite compared to other services I've used that it took me by surprise!

The dress is a nice crisp cotton, with high quality, fluffy, luxurious feeling lace. The waist sits a little higher on me than it does in the photos, but I'm pushing the upper bounds of the listed chest measurement, so if you sit in the middle of the range it'll likely fit just as pictured! The dress can hold its gather really well, combined with its underskirt you can get some decent poof without a petticoat, though I prefer how it looks fully puffed out with its design on display! I also have narrow shoulders and tend to have issues wearing mediums and up in both Asian and Western sizes, but the way these shoulder straps are set, they can sit slightly wider or narrower without any issue.
I'm a seamstress so I almost never give clothes 5 star reviews thanks to being super picky about the materials and methods that I use, but I can't find a single flaw in this garment, I'm so happy with it! <3
