I think the design of this maid dress, the hairband, and the apron is very pretty. I especially like that it is less costumey than is usually seen in other maid dresses. This feels polished and professional compared to the low-quality polyester-satin pieces usually seen on the market.
With a bust of 100, I still fit in, even though the buttons sit a little dangerously.
Two things I would like to mention about this set: The petticoat is absolutely rubbish. I would rather not have it. Save the money and the space. It is flimsy and looks and feels like it is made from fibers that were floating around in the factory suuper short fiber strands.
Secondly, all of the accessories have stray and uncut strings. Moreover, the stitch length is a little large, which is why there will probably be little repairs to be made in the future. For $88, I did expect these details to be taken care of. But since they are minor, I suppose it is not such a big deal overall. 4/5 stars from me.
For reference: These photos were taken to give a realistic, unedited impression of the dress. There is no makeup or retouching, just some simple poses to show how the piece actually looks in real life. (And yes, that is my real hair :D).
Sizing: The dress does fit, but reinforcements might be needed for the centre white bust panel buttons. (Not 42Lolita fault, their table does recommend a smaller bust circumference!) For reference, here are my measurements (in cm): Shoulder width: 42 | Bust: 100 | Upper bust: 93 | Under bust: 88 | Waist: 85 | Arm length: 53 | Wrist circumference: 15

it’s perfect. my american tshirt size is a small, but i took my measurements and they corresponded to the size large for this dress, so i ordered it in a size large and the fit is exactly right, not too tight or loose. the fabrics have a pleasant texture to them and are high-quality. this set is even cuter in person than it is in the pictures on the website. this is the first time i have ever purchased anything lolita from anywhere, but i’m very impressed. international shipping wasn’t cheap, but it took only nine days from the day i placed the order to the day it arrived at my door, which was astoundingly fast! it was securely packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap and waterproof tape - no flimsy Amazon bag. (i work in package delivery and those bust open in transit all the time - 42lolita clearly knows what they’re doing with both keeping the packages light and economical to ship while also ensuring the absolute safety of the items.) they also included a really cute pair of socks as a free gift, which go with the set perfectly. i couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Dress is as described, same as the pictures. Material is nice, better than I expected, and size is just perfect. Maybe the apron is a little bit small, though.
