Breaking News: U.S. Tariff Policy Suspended – Great News for USA Customers!

The U.S. tariff policy has undergone a major reversal. On February 3, the U.S. announced that all packages from China and Hong Kong would be subject to tariffs. However, on February 8, this policy was suspended, and the previous exemption for small parcels under $800 USD was reinstated. Congratulations to all our U.S. customers—this is fantastic news that will help reduce the burden of your online shopping!

In response to the February 3 tariff policy, 42Lolita quickly implemented measures, including sharing tariff costs with customers and setting up tax rates in our store system to facilitate tax payments at checkout. With this latest policy change, 42Lolita will continue to take corresponding measures to protect the interests of our customers, including:

  1. Removing tariff settings for U.S. orders in our store system

    • Customers will no longer need to pay tariffs when placing orders.

  2. Full refund of tariffs paid between February 5 and February 8

    • For U.S. orders that included tariff payments during this period, 42Lolita has processed full refunds. The refunded amount will be returned to the original payment method, and customers have been notified via email.

  3. Adjustments for orders placed before February 5 using Cainiao/Yanwen shipping

    • Since Cainiao and Yanwen shipping methods require prepayment of tariffs, 42Lolita sent tariff invoices to affected customers on February 7.

    • For customers who already paid, 42Lolita has refunded the full tariff amount.

    • For customers who have not yet paid, the tariff invoice has been canceled, and no further payment is required.

  4. Orders canceled due to the February 3 tariff policy

    • Some customers requested order cancellations due to the previous tariff policy, and 42Lolita provided full refunds.

    • Now that the policy has been updated, if you would like to reinstate your previous orders, please contact us at support@42lolita.com. We will resend the order invoice for payment, and the order remains valid.
