First off, this was my first time ordering from 42 Lolita, and I would 100% order again.
The dress itself is lovely and comfy, but the corset is...not the same quality pictured. It is a different color, came...stained? I am not totally sure, it is a cream and blue color, but there are parts that have a red line or splotch. The buttons/button loops do not work, as the button loops are WAY too small for the already small buttons, so it is impossible to button or unbutton.

I bought a 2xl and while I thiiiink i should size up next time, this was just snug enough rather than uncomfortable. Even with the corset! It's such a gorgeous dress and I can't wait to we see more

I ordered the 3X size. I was a little worried about the chest pleats, because detailing like this rarely sits as intended on my large chest, but the bustline maintained its scalloped shell appearance beautifully. The dress is very light and easy to wear, and the detachable sleeves allows for some freedom with coords.
The corset included is GREAT for plus-sized girls. It can stretch out quite a bit and the shape accommodates common problem areas like the underarm and underbust areas. I had a tiny issue buttoning the front (the buttons are very small) but starting from the middle fixed that problem. Once secured the corset stays in place even if you are moving a lot. The dress also looks good without the corset, but it adds a luxurious feel to the dress and I feel it's best kept on.
Definitely recommended for plus-sized lolitas!

I didn't think this was going to fit me the way I wanted it to. I'm very used to 'plus size' measurements being inaccurate and garments sitting weird.
I ordered the largest size and it fit like a glove. For reference I'm:
Bust 52
Waist 42
Hip 48
I love finally having a dress that has volume without a petticoat! The ribbon details on the sleeves are so cute! I love that it comes with attachable straps. Though the loops on the dress are a little too big to secure them properly, I believe it's an easy fix.
I want to emphasize that you can't see through this material.It's thick enough material, but it still breathable enough for summer. Absolutely perfect dress!
