📢 Important Notice: Upcoming U.S. Tariff Changes on Packages from China Starting May 2, 2025

Dear 42Lolita U.S. Customers,

We would like to inform our U.S. customers about an important change in U.S. customs policy that will impact all shipments from China, including those from Hong Kong, starting May 2, 2025.

Under the new White House executive order, the duty-free exemption for packages valued under $800 (de minimis rule) will no longer apply to qualifying products from China. This change will directly affect international postal packages, including all of our shipping options.

One of the following two types of tariffs will be imposed:

1. Ad Valorem Duty: 30% of the total package value (effective from May 2, 2025)

2. Specific Duty:

   • $25 per package from May 2 to May 31, 2025

   • $50 per package starting June 1, 2025

We kindly ask our U.S. customers to keep this in mind when placing orders in the coming weeks. 

To support our customers to minimize the impact of this change, 42Lolita will take the measures:

Split Shipment Option: If your current order contains pre-order items with a long pre-order time and you would like us to ship the available items first, please contact us as soon as possible via email support@42lolita.com. We can arrange a split shipment for just extra $5 USD. We highly recommend you ship the ready items first and ship the long pre-order ones later to reduce the customs fee. 

At this time, it is uncertain whether this policy will be revised or adjusted in the near future. However, we will closely monitor any updates and notify you immediately should any changes arise.
