the pendant is very pretty! it has a nice heft to it and though i am not sure if the main body is glass, it seems quite sturdy. i got this as a gift to my partner; it's part of a renfaire situation where he plays a wonderful little wizard. the chain is of wonderful quality and though i wouldn't necessarily yank on it to prove that, it could probably take a few tugs. it is also adjustable.

the only reason this item doesn't get the full five stars is that the bottom silver part popped off, and while you can squeeze it back on, i would recommend not twisting the silver parts off or being rough with them. it's easy to reattach with superglue, though, i am sure. there is also the way the pendant hangs, which is a little uneven due to where it's connected on either side of the pendant, so you have to get it just right on your neck so it doesn't tilt.

Took a while for everything to ship, but customer service was very good in providing me updates when I asked. The item came in a special shrink wrapped package to prevent damage. The accessory itself looks intricate and beautiful and would make a great accent piece to the right outfit coord.
